How does the owner background check work?
For pros
On Verification, the Owner background check card shows your status: Optional, Required for your services, Requested, In progress, Passed or Not passed.
It is required for services where you are alone in a customer's home or caring for children, seniors or pets. The owner named on your business registration is checked. For other pros it is optional and earns the Owner background checked badge.
Tap Request my background check. We email you a secure link to authorize it. If the check is not passed, the card asks you to contact us to discuss.
