Terms of Use for Customers

Last updated: October 26, 2026

The short version (not a substitute for the full terms)

  • Using infinibell is free for customers.
  • You choose the pros who get your request. Only the pros you choose, and our review team, see your request and contact details.
  • Pros are independent businesses. We screen them when they join, but screening relies on public records and on what pros tell us, and it can miss things. It is not a guarantee that any pro is licensed, insured or qualified. Check before you hire. The job contract is between you and the pro.
  • We never sell your information and pros may not use it for marketing.
  • Disputes go to arbitration under Washington law, one person at a time, unless you opt out within 30 days (section 15). Small claims court is always available.

1. Agreement

These Terms are between you and Clearlake Holdings LLC, a Washington limited liability company, doing business as infinibell ("we", "us"). They cover your use of infinibell websites, apps and services (the "Platform") as a customer. You agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines and, if you get texts from us, the SMS Terms, by turning on the "I agree" switch when you create an account or send your first request. We record the date, the version you accepted and the wording shown to you. You must be at least 18.

2. What we do

We help you describe what you need, show you pros who serve your area, and send your request to the pros you choose. We are not a contractor or service provider, we do not employ the pros, and we are not a party to any agreement you make with a pro. We do not set prices, schedule work or guarantee results.

3. What we check, and what we do not

  • Screening when a pro joins. For trades that need a license, we compare the license or registration number the pro gives us with the issuing state's public records. In Washington this check is automatic against L&I records and repeats on a schedule; in other states our team checks the state's official lookup by hand. For licensed professions we check with the state board. For services that need no state license, our team reviews the business before it is listed, and those listings say "License not required for this service".
  • What we rely on. Our screening relies on public records and on information pros give us, including insurance details and documents. Records can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and a pro can give us false or outdated information. We do not independently confirm insurance with the insurer.
  • No guarantee. We do not guarantee, warrant or represent that any pro is licensed, registered, bonded, insured, qualified, safe or honest, on the day they join or on any later date. Words and badges such as "screened", "verified", "license checked" or "insurance on file" mean only that a specific record matched, or a document was provided, on the date shown. They are not a promise about the pro, their workers or their work.
  • Background checks. For services where a pro is alone in your home or cares for your children, seniors or pets, we require a criminal background check on the business owner named on the business registration. A profile shows "Owner background check passed" and the date when one is on file. It covers only that owner, not employees or anyone else the business sends, and it reports only what the screening company's records showed on that date.
  • What we do not do. We do not run criminal background checks on every pro or worker, we do not check the individual workers or subcontractors a pro sends, and we do not inspect, supervise or guarantee any work.
  • Your responsibility. You are responsible for choosing a pro and for deciding whether they are right for your job. Before work starts, confirm the license yourself with the state licensing agency, ask for a current certificate of insurance that covers your job, and get the price and scope in writing. In Washington, use the L&I "Verify a Contractor" page; for residential jobs of $1,000 or more, Washington contractors must give you a "Notice to Customer" disclosure.
  • Tell us. If you learn a pro is not licensed or insured, or gave false information, tell us at hello@infinibell.com. We may pause or remove the listing, and you can also report it to the state licensing agency. Removing a listing does not make us responsible for the pro's work or conduct.

4. Your request

  • Describe your job honestly. Do not send requests for someone else without their permission, test requests, or requests to sell something.
  • You choose which pros get your request, and you see which ones you chose. The number of pros you can choose may change from time to time. We never send your request to anyone you did not choose unless you turn that on (below), and we never sell your request to anyone.
  • If no pro lists the exact service near you, we may show pros who list a related service. They see your job without your contact details and may decline.
  • You choose how pros may reach you: call and text, email, or in-app messages. A pro gets only the contact details for the method you choose, after they accept your request or when a shared request is sent to them.
  • Optional: you can let us send your request to other verified pros if no pro answers within 3 days. This is off unless you turn it on.
  • We may hold, review, edit for clarity, or decline to send any request, for example if it looks like spam or asks for something unlawful.

When you send a request and turn on "Yes, these businesses may contact me", you agree that the businesses you picked for that request, and we, may contact you about that request by the method you chose, including by phone call and text message to the number you gave. Picking a business, including one you approve later (for example a nearby pro we find for you, or a pro you allow us to send your request to), is your consent to be contacted by that business, and only that business. Your consent does not cover any business you did not pick, and pros may not share your number or pass it to anyone else. If someone you did not pick contacts you about your request, tell us at hello@infinibell.com. This consent is only for that request. It is not consent to marketing, and you do not have to give it to use the Platform: you can choose in-app messages only. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text from us to stop texts, and tell a pro to stop contacting you at any time.

6. Hiring a pro

Any agreement for work, including price, scope, schedule, warranty, permits and payment, is between you and the pro. Pros are responsible for their work and for following the law. Use good judgment before letting anyone into your home. For lessons or care involving children, stay present unless you have checked the person yourself.

6A. Deals and claiming

  • Pros may publish deals. A deal is the pro's offer, not ours: the pro sets it, is responsible for it, and confirms it is lawful where offered. If we ever run a promotion ourselves it will say so.
  • To use a deal, claim it first by tapping Claim and contact pro. Claiming needs your name, phone, email and the service address, and sends your request and those details right away to that one pro only. A deal applies only if you claimed it on the Platform before the job was booked; it does not apply if you contact the pro another way first or find the deal after paying.
  • A deal is good until its end date or until its claim limit is reached, whichever comes first. You can claim each deal once and have up to 3 open deal claims at a time. Claiming deals you do not intend to use can lead to losing access to deals or to your account.

7. Rewards points

You can earn points for using the Platform, for example for sending a request, reporting who you hired, rating a pro, or inviting a pro who is approved. Points have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and expire if your account is closed. We may change the points program or end it with notice, and remove points earned by fraud or by breaking these Terms.

8. Inviting pros

If you invite a pro with your invite link, you earn points when that pro is approved. Do not invite yourself or create fake businesses. If you post your link publicly, say that you earn points for it.

9. Ratings and messages

Rate only pros you dealt with through the Platform, honestly and from your own experience. Follow the Community Guidelines. We may remove ratings that break them and we record why. We do not hide ratings in a second list, and a pro cannot pay to change which ratings are shown or where they rank. Messages in the app are stored and may be reviewed to help you, rank pros fairly and stop fraud.

10. Your account

Keep your sign-in private. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can close your account at any time from My account or by contacting us.

11. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Platform: no scraping or copying data, no bots, no harassment of pros, no false information, no attempts to break security, no using the Platform to recruit pros for other services, and no reselling access.

12. Our content

The Platform's design, text, software and trademarks belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Platform only for its intended purpose.

13. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty that a pro is licensed, registered, bonded, insured or qualified, that information on a profile is accurate or current, or that any work will be done well or at all. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, work, prices, deals, statements or conduct of any pro, their workers or subcontractors, or any other user. Screening and verification statements on the Platform are not warranties. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived, including the Washington Consumer Protection Act.

14. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for losses caused by a pro's work or conduct; and our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, unless the law sets a longer time that cannot be shortened.

15. Disputes and arbitration

  • Talk to us first: send a written notice to hello@infinibell.com describing the claim. We will try to resolve it within 60 days.
  • Arbitration: if it is not resolved, either party (you or infinibell) may start binding arbitration with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Washington law governs the arbitration, including the Washington Uniform Arbitration Act (chapter 7.04A RCW), together with the Federal Arbitration Act.
  • Fees: you pay the AAA consumer filing fee and nothing more. We pay every other AAA fee, including the arbitrator's pay, unless the arbitrator finds the claim frivolous.
  • Hearings: by video. If an in-person hearing is needed, it is held in Pierce County, Washington.
  • Small claims: instead of arbitration, either party (you or infinibell) may file a claim in small claims court.
  • One person at a time: you and infinibell may each bring a claim only for yourselves, not as part of a class action or on behalf of a group. If this is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim goes to court instead of arbitration.
  • Mass filings: if 25 or more similar claims are filed by or with the same counsel, they will be administered in batches.
  • Opt-out: you may opt out of this section by emailing hello@infinibell.com within 30 days after you first use the Platform.

16. Governing law

Washington law governs these Terms and any arbitration under them, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Anything not arbitrated goes to the state courts in Pierce County, Washington or the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.

17. Changes and ending

We may change these Terms and will give notice of material changes at least 30 days ahead by email or on the Platform. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these Terms. Sections 6A (deals already claimed), 7, 9 and 12 to 17 survive.
