How does license verification work?
For pros
Open the Verification tab, or Settings, then Licenses and checks. Enter your license details and tap the button at the bottom of the form.
For Washington contractor trades, we check your license number, name and status against Washington L&I records automatically. The button reads Check my records and send for review. If everything matches, you are done. If not, your records go to our team and we email you when the check is done, usually within one business day.
For other states and for trades with a state professional license, our team confirms the license by hand. Trades with no state license get a team review of your business details.
Verification is a snapshot from the date shown, taken from the state record. Your page shows License checked once it is confirmed.
