Review a guide, get your name on it
Pros who offer a service can review its guide. We check every correction, then name you on the guide and list it on your profile.
How it works
- Open a guide for a service you offer and tap Review this guide.
- Go through every section. Turn on This section is right, or write the correction and why. Like an edit on Wikipedia, a review has to add something: at least one correction or fact from your own work. A review that only says everything is right does not earn credit.
- We check every correction against the field and our sources. A correction with no reason does not change the guide.
- Approved: the guide shows Reviewed by your business, an infinibell pro in your city, near the top, linked to your profile, and your review goes in the guide's edit history with the date and how many sections you improved. The guide is listed under Guides reviewed on your profile.
Who can edit
- Any approved infinibell pro whose license and insurance checks are done, like Wikipedia: no limit on how many pros improve a guide.
- Local guides: written for one city, open to pros who offer that service in that exact city or ZIP. Rules and conditions differ by place, so a pro only reviews the places they serve.
- National guides: open only for services done remotely (for example SEO, web design, bookkeeping or software integrations), to pros who offer that service remotely. National guides for local services, like drain cleaning, are written and checked by infinibell and nobody is featured on them.
- Landing pages (find a pro in a city) never feature a pro.
- Up to 5 edits in any 24 hours per pro, so every edit is read, not clicked through.
What you get
- Every approved edit is credited in the guide's edit history with the date and how many sections you improved, linked to your infinibell profile.
- Featured at the top: the newest 3 contributors who have auto-accept on for that service, with a max high enough to receive leads, show as Reviewed by near the top of the guide. You are the expert on that guide, so customers with questions need to be able to reach you.
- A Guides reviewed section on your profile.
- 1 guide point for each approved edit. Guide points give a small boost in how pros are ordered, never more than 5 percent, so distance, fit, response and ratings still come first.
- Guides link only to infinibell profiles, never to outside websites or phone numbers. Your city comes from the first ZIP on your profile.
How credit works over time
- Turn auto-accept off and you drop out of the featured spot, but your edits stay in the history.
- Remove the service from your profile and your credit on that guide comes off after 30 days, unless you add the service back.
- Paused or checks lapsed for more than 90 days: credit comes off.
- Removed from infinibell: credit comes off right away.
- The guide stays on our site either way.
Whose words are these
We write every guide and we are responsible for what it says. Reviewers tell us what is right and what is wrong from their own experience, and we decide what changes. Anyone can report a mistake on a reviewed guide; we check it and tell the reviewers.
