Test mode

You can build and test a connection without touching real customers.

• Webhook test: tap Send a test event in Settings. You get a signed webhook.test event with lead: null. Up to 10 tests an hour.
• Test leads: ask us to switch your account to test mode for a session (Help, "Account"). A test pro is limited to ZIP code 99999 and the service "Test service (not a real job)", is never charged and is hidden from customers. We then send test requests you can accept, decline and update, and every API call and webhook works exactly as it will live.
• Free tools to watch webhooks: a request inspector such as webhook.site shows exactly what we send. Delete the inspector address from Settings when you are done.
• Test keys and live keys are the same kind of key. A key on a test-mode account only ever sees test leads.
